The middle 50% of admitted Yale students have SAT scores between 1470-1570 and ACT scores between 33-35. Test scores are important but Yale uses holistic review, considering your entire profile.
Yale has Early Action (non-binding) deadline of November 1 and Regular Decision deadline of January 2. Early Action is restrictive, meaning you cannot apply Early Decision to another school, but you can apply Regular Decision to other schools.
Yale strongly recommends interviews with alumni interviewers. Interviews are not required but highly encouraged as they allow you to express your interest in Yale and discuss your goals.
